Miami proved to be a victorious weekend for Sam and James, as they topped every session throughout the event.
The race itself ran flawlessly from start to finish, with the pair taking victory by an impressive 25-second margin. The result was made even more special by achieving it in front of a crowd of over 250,000 people.
Race 2 on Sunday morning looked set to deliver another exciting battle, but the Florida weather had other plans, with heavy rain forcing the race to be postponed.
Next stop is Road Atlanta, Georgia, in June, where the postponed Miami race will now take place.
